WHO WE ARE...
I was drawn to the animal welfare field over a year and a half ago by a Southern California shelter. Sun and dogs? What could be better? It wasn't long after I started though, that I realized there's more to rescue than cleaning kennels and walking dogs. There's a bigger picture beyond caring for the animals at the shelter at any given time, and I wanted to be part of sharing that bigger picture with all of you. Thank you for your support on our journey in getting to know the soul of a dog instead of the breed. What does Anti-Breed mean? Anti-Breed carries a couple different meanings that are echoed by a number of animal welfare groups. Anti-Breed says, dogs are not accessories, they shouldn't be designed when they can be rescued. Anti-Breed also calls for more education in regard to breed stereotypes. Breed does not determine personality, a misconception that has been keeping homes empty and kennels full for far too long. 20% of our proceeds go to Humane Societies in Southern California!
